OUR STORY

A decade ago, All Ears began with a simple belief: Dogs are not misbehaving - they are sole-ly/soul-ly communicating

Hence, we chose a different path in canine training, the one rooted in trust, wisdom, and respect - paved for us by the animals themselves who needed a pair of ears to listen, wisdom to understand, and hands to serve

And we at All Ears are only grateful that we were truly the lucky ones who got a chance to serve them in this lifetime...

Meet Scarlett, our Co-Founder

On a summer evening of 15 May 2015, a rescue kitten made her way into our home and heart. Life turned upside down, and we wouldn't have it any other way! But as soon as she turned a year old, her behavioral concerns went out of hand. Even as a professional, no training worked till we were introduced to the world of animal telepathic communication.

That opened the doors to being All Ears to Animals, along with training them. Our dear Scarlett taught us that the WHY behind the behavior is important before focusing on HOW to resolve it.

So we delved deeper into this lost art from various teachers all over the world, and it's that day and today, Scarlett, even in her spirit form, guides us how each dog needs to be heard, understood, and served...

Many times, we ask her, how can we help this dog and his family through training? What should All Ears add to the list of services, and her answers never fail to amuse us.

Solemnly grateful to her, as without her, there's no us!
Miss you every day, my dear partner
Rest in Peace, always

When the Animals taught

us about being Human

Growing up in Dubai, UAE, my summer breaks were at my grandpa’s house in Mumbai, India, residing right opposite a home to animal lovers. Chiman Charlie, their indie dog, my one and only friend then who taught me love can be four-legged too! As a 6-year-old, I was fascinated beyond imagination even to understand how another species like him understands and converses with us with body language!

As I grew older and moved to India for good, I knew I wanted to create a dent in the universe, and animals were my true calling. My journey began with working briefly as an intern at PeTA India, where my first question in the interview was, "Are you vegan?" and I asked them, How do my food choices define my calibre? And they simply replied, "If you love animals, you don't eat them"

That one line changed my life. I started seeing animals with less of how the world taught me to see them and more of how they would like to be served. So I moved on to working at Animals Matter To Me, an NGO that took care of 300+ abandoned, abused, rescued and re-homed dogs. These animals possessed a superpower to forgive, to trust again, respect all beings around them and present themselves for who they truly are and what they feel. I saw them beyond pets, furbabies and actually as canine companions who practice loyalty and surrender, but only to those who master their mind and lead with heart.

Alongside the NGO, there came learning, assisting and working with professional, internationally acclaimed canine behaviourists who taught us the training techniques and commands, but the real learning came from the animals themselves, after all, who are better teachers to teach us true virtues of a Pack Leader, inspiring us to introduce All Ears For Animals! But we can't talk about founding All Ears without introducing Scarlett to you, our co-founder, spirit guide, partner, my best friend...

Just a few of the 1000 animals from the Shelter at AMTM back in the day who have touched our lives, changed it for the better, and supported us in this journey. Training wonderful Pet Parents like you at All Ears is only a way for us to give back the same teachings we learnt from them. While some believe animals from the shelter may express anger, betrayal, or stress, that is not the case at all. Rather, their energy was ALL LOVE, CARE, GRATITUDE, and FORGIVENESS - as French writer Anatole France once said,

"

Until one has loved an animal, a part of one's soul remains unawakened

"

Why are we called All Ears?

Listening is a wonderful quality we possess as humans. When we listen intently, we feel educated, entertained, or enlightened. Just offering an ear to a loved one who would like to express their deepest concerns can improve the situation in itself. As pet parents, we expect basic things from our dogs, whether it's wanting them to sit on command, walk on cue, among other things, but what we forget to do is listen to what they would like from us. Keeping the conversation two-way encourages us to see things beyond our perspective, too, especially for our dearest dogs!

Our Three Pillars of Training

MUTUAL TRUST

Two-way communication where your dog listens because they need to, in surrender not as a challenge to 'know better'

MUTUAL LOVE

Unconditional care and connection. Your dog is family member, a companion, not just a pet or temprorary attraction

MUTUAL RESPECT

Honor your dog's unique personality, fears, and learning style. There's no robotic training, only responsive from both sides

We believe dogs don’t need to be controlled... they need to be heard

And when we truly listen, they show us the way

See you on the training side! Thank you for all your support

with love,
